  For over 30 years Michael Lonstar is the name associated with country music in Poland. Michael was the first artist to introduce this style of music in Poland.
As a singer, band leader, radio moderator and promoter of festivals but also as a composer, lyricist and producer Michael has shaped the polish country music scene significantly. The studied architect who speaks perfect English and Italian has also made a name for himself in the USA.
Due to a number of performances there, he has a steady growing following. It was a little quiet about the modest artist outside the iron curtain in Europe but this will all change in 2008.
Parallel to his newest album „Co to jest to Country“, the English version „What`s this Country thing“ is being released outside of Poland. Michael made the effort and translated all the songs into English.
A European tour is planned for the fall 2008..
