The combination of a Scotsman and country music seems at first a little strange, and then his search for fullfilment playing clubs in Spain and then Germany completes the paradox. But this is the story of Kevin Henderson.
In 1974 kevin packed his bags and went off to Spain to seek a little life experience and ended up playing American music in American GI clubs. Those particularly smart GI’s sent him to Germany, where he immediately went to work again in the clubs, but slowly learned enough German to allow him to perform his style, in front of what turned out to be his best audiences. Despite a very busy schedule, he managed to release 8 CDs of his own music, mixed with his own interpretation of songs from the country and pop scene.
The ninth CD is now in the works and should be available soon.
To offer a little taste of things to come, Kevin’s record company is releasing the single “Angels” that gives the linedancing public a chance to swing to Robbie Williams’ top twenty composition.
